The communication centre operate between the hours of 6.00 am and 10pm, responsible for providing excellent service delivery through the accurate and timely coordination of resources including the booking of patient transfers, fleet coordination and scheduling of jobs. This is a permanent part time opportunity working WEEKENDS only.

.What you’ll do:

  • Support the delivery of Patient Transfer and Community Transport Service providing administration and support services daily
  • Receive and progress incoming transport bookings and answer general enquiries with a customer service focus
  • Answer high volumes of calls and general enquiries from customers
  • Ensure booking details are recorded and progressed for scheduling, this includes negotiating bookings with customers to maximise efficiencies
  • Utilise problem solving skills and initiative to ensure that service goals are met
  • Provide a high level of customer service by treating all stakeholders with respect, undertake client visits as required.
  • The Communication centre is operational between 6am – 10pm and you will be rostered to shifts within these operational hours.

What you’ll need:

  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a call centre or similar environment
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • The ability to problem solve and think on your feet
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills
