A Job to Be Proud Of:

As a 000 Call Taker, you’ll play a vital role at the heart of emergency response in Western Australia, where your calm and decisive actions will make a direct impact on someone's life. Your critical role will include providing lifesaving first aid advice and pre-arrival instructions during 000 calls. Based at our State Control Centre in Belmont or Northern Hub in Wangara, you will offer support 24/7 to individuals during their most desperate moments.

In this role, you will:

  • Respond to emergency (000) and non-emergency calls across Western Australia
  • Deliver pre-arrival first aid instructions and reassurance to callers in distress
  • Maintain clear, calm, and accurate communication while managing critical information flow.

To join our team, you’ll need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights, and able to commit to a rotational shift roster supporting our 24/7 operations.
