A job to be proud of:

You will ensure that data for creditors, accounts payable invoices and standing information is accurately collated, recorded and entered on a daily basis. This is a full time, permanent opportunity based at our Head Office in Belmont.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure that data for creditors is accurately recorded and updated daily
  • Reconcile creditor statements on a monthly basis
  • Ensure prompt payment of organisations creditors
  • Assist with the preparation of credit applications for the organisation
  • Maintain accurate petty cash records
  • Ensure that the correct process is followed for cash floats
  • Assist with month end processes to ensure a timely and accurate month end close
  • Managing queries both internally and externally in a timely manner

What you’ll need:

  • At least 5 years Accounts Payable experience in a corporate environment
  • Knowledge of GST and Tax Invoice requirements
  • Ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy for data entry
  • Previous experience with Accounting Software (Desirable Microsoft Dynamics GP or equivalent)
