About the Role:

St John WA is looking for a Logistics Support Lead to join our Supply Chain department on a Full Time Permanent basis. To lead and maximise the internal and external customer experience within the Logistics team by ensuring efficient delivery, resolving customer inquiries, and implementing strategies to improve overall customer satisfaction in the logistics process.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support functional objectives aligned to the broader strategic priorities of the stream and organisation.
  • Work collaboratively with the line manager to achieve business objectives within agreed timeframes.
  • Optimise and maintain efficient logistics workflows to support timely delivery and distribution of goods.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve logistics efficiency and customer service outcomes.
  • Respond to and resolve customer enquiries relating to logistics in a timely and effective manner.
  • Coordinate logistics requirements for internal projects and act as the key escalation point for internal stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach and develop direct reports to build a high-performing, positive and engaged team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, legislation, mandatory training and organisational requirements.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven knowledge and skills within the ambit of this position – management or team leader level.
  • Technical and working knowledge of systems, tools and process within the ambit of this position.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (highly desirable)
  • Service Now experience (highly desirable)
  • Experience with managing external service providers (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of budgeting and establishment.
  • Established analytical and problem-solving skills including proven ability to analyse and understand complex information, business processes and concepts and make decisions based on sound judgments and available relevant research.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • High level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including evidence of building networks and collaborative working arrangements with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Certifications within supply chain / logistics (Cert III Logistics) desirable
