St John WA is recruiting for radiographers across the network of Urgent Care Centres in Perth. The X-ray department is operated by St John WA in conjunction with Perth Radiological Clinic, who is recognised nationally as a leader in diagnostic medical imaging.
Our Urgent Care clinics see a high volume of cases requiring the expertise of an MIT, you will be performing general X-rays to diagnose injuries, using our brand new, state-of-the-art Shimadzu system.

Knowing first aid is a vital skill and we actively encourage all employees to learn it. Statistics indicate that 80% of cardiac arrests occur in the home and that for each minute CPR is not administered, a patient’s survival rate decreases by 10%.
All employees are offered a complementary HLTAID011 Provide first aid course every three years, which is conducted at a St John Ambulance WA training centre. Immediate family members living at the same address as the employee are also entitled to one free course every three years.

To work with St John WA as a radiographer in Australia, you require a degree in Medical Imaging or Medical Radiation Science. You must be currently registered with the MRPB, AHPRA and hold a current and up-to-date Radiation Safety license from the Radiology Council of WA. All of our Radiographers must be able to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team and have strong communication skills as well as a customer focus.
