About the Role:

We are seeking Casual Transport Services Coordinators & Casual Dispatch Coordinators to join our fast‑paced Patient & Community Transport Services team based in Belmont. These roles play a critical part in ensuring our customers receive safe, timely, and reliable transport services, while supporting our on‑road teams, volunteers, and wider operational network.

What You’ll Do:

Transport Services Coordinator

  • Manage incoming transport bookings and customer enquiries with accuracy and strong service focus.
  • Negotiate bookings with customers to maximise efficiencies, including making outbound calls to customers
  • Utilises problem solving skills and shows initiative to ensure that service goals are met
  • Provide a high level of customer service, treating all people with respect whether an internal or external contact
  • Answering all calls promptly
  • Timely actioning of information received
  • Problem‑solve and prioritise tasks to meet service targets and operational demands.

Dispatch Coordinator

  • Monitor real‑time vehicle and crew activity to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Dispatch crews and respond quickly to changing operational conditions.
  • Serve as the primary communication link for on‑road personnel throughout shifts.
  • Manage high‑volume communications and adjust schedules as required.
  • Support incident response and help maintain service KPIs through effective prioritisation.

The Communications Centre operates 6:00am – 10:00pm, 7 days a week and you will be rostered to shifts within these hours.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience in call centre operations and or logistics, dispatch, logistics, fleet coordination, resource allocation.  
  • Strong organisational and time‑management capability in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with multiple systems, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently within a shift‑work environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the WA health system (desirable).
  • Demonstrated customer service experience, particularly handling high‑volume calls.
