The Opportunity

St John WA is seeking qualified and experienced Paramedics to join our casual pool, providing healthcare and emergency response services to a range of industrial and remote clients across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver frontline emergency medical response and patient care
  • Manage a variety of clinical situations in often remote or challenging environments
  • Collaborate with local health teams, hospitals, and community responders
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation and adherence to protocols
  • Ability to set up a medical clinic
  • Embody St John's commitment to professionalism, compassion, and safety

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA Qualifications - no conditions
  • Diploma Paramedical Science (minimum) with ideally post graduate studies or; Bachelor Science (paramedical science)
  • Full C Class drivers licence - no restrictions
  • White Card - willing to obtain
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Paramedic in Industrial environments preferably mining /remote locations or on road
  • Forward commander training/MIMMS - desirable
  • Permanent working rights in Australia
  • Cert III in Mines and Rescue - desirable
  • Successfully applicant will need to provide a satisfactory police clearance issued within 3 months
  • Current Advance Life Support 2
  • Collect Specimen for Drug and Alcohol abuse (HLTPAT005)
