St John Dental operates in primary health clinics across the metro area located in Armadale/Kelmscott, Cannington, Cockburn, Joondalup, Midland & Osborne Park. These facilities are state of the art and offer a range of combined health solutions including GP, Urgent Care and Dental, along with allied services and x-ray/imaging facilities.

Dental Receptionist/Assistant - Part Time - Osborne Park and Joondalup

St John Dental clinics provide unparalleled oral care including routine general, major dental (including implants and extractions) and emergency. Whether it's the annual family trip for a scale and polish or a complex surgical procedure that our patients visit us for, we provide comprehensive treatment plans and adhere to a high standard of service for all of our patients.

The role:

We are seeking an experienced permanent Part-time Dental Receptionist/Assistant to work across both of our Osborne Park and Joondalup Clinics.

Roster:

Mon 9.15am-6.15pm - Dental reception Osborne Park

Tues 8.45am-5.15pm - Dental Assistant at Joondalup

Weds RDO

Thurs 9.15am-6.15pm - Dental Assistant Osborne Park

Fri 7.45am-4.15pm Dental Reception Osborne Park

Sat 7.45am-12.45pm Dental Reception Osborne Park (currently fortnightly shift)

What you will be doing:

Your role will support the smooth running of the St John Dental clinic, efficiently following procedures and providing a high-quality service to our patients, doctors and clients. Your duties will include:

• All aspects of Dental Reception and Dental Assistant 
• Acting as a first point of contact for Dental patients
• Maintaining patient records, including bookings and billings
• Child Dental Benefits
• HICAPS
• Effectively manage the recall process
• Assist our Dentists chair-side, pre-empting their needs
• Follow instrument sterilisation and infection control procedures
• Perform surgery preparation in anticipation of the daily schedule

You will have:

• Prior experience as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist
• Experience using Dental 4 Windows
• Cert III Dental Assisting preferred or interest in working towards (Desirable)
• Ability to answer busy phone lines and multi-task
• Incredible customer service skills
• Professional personal presentation
• Current Police Clearance
