About the Role:

We are looking for two Facilities Officers to join our Property and Development department on a permanent full-time basis, based in Belmont. The Facilities Officer is responsible for supporting the delivery of day to day facilities operations across the St John WA property portfolio. This position provides administrative, systems, and coordination support for building maintenance activities, contractor engagement, compliance processes, and facilities systems, ensuring operational tasks are completed accurately, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and service standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with successful delivery of the building maintenance program on time and to the required standard.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all correspondence and administrative processes are completed in accordance with relevant policies and procedures to facilitate the provision of accurate and timely information.
  • Process purchase order requisitions and cheque requests associated with service area activities in accordance with internal policy and processes.
  • Maintain the Facilities Management (FMI) system including management of reactive and preventative maintenance, contractor induction compliance and other functions where required.
  • Assist with Management & monitoring of Solar and HVAC systems for applicable buildings across the portfolio where required.
  • Assist with management of the CCTV and access control system for applicable buildings across the portfolio where required.

What You’ll Need:

  • Good problem solving and organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous exposure to facilities or work order management systems.
  • Experience in project and contract management environment (desirable).
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Current C or C-A class drivers’ licence (desirable).
