St John WA has been serving the Western Australian community since 1892. Our organisation has grown into an integrated healthcare provider, connecting people across WA to lifesaving emergency services, urgent care, and health education.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, and we are committed to making a positive impact on the safety, wellbeing, and health of everyone, no matter where in WA they live. Our services are powered by more than 8,000 dedicated employees and volunteers who bring care, skill, and compassion to every corner of the state.

About the Role:

St John WA is seeking qualified and experienced Ambulance Paramedics to join our operational teams in frontline ambulance across the Perth Metropolitan Area.

As a St John WA Paramedic, you’ll respond to a diverse range of patients and clinical presentations, using your experience, clinical judgement and decision-making skills when they matter most. You’ll work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, delivering high-quality care to people at some of the most critical moments in their lives.

We’re looking for experienced paramedics who are clinically confident, compassionate and resilient, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in complex situations.

Working alongside fellow paramedics and in collaboration with healthcare and emergency service partners, you’ll play an important role in delivering trusted, patient-centred care to the Western Australian community.

Western Australia your next move:

If you’re considering a move to Western Australia, this is an opportunity to combine a meaningful frontline paramedic career with the lifestyle benefits of living in one of Australia’s most unique and diverse states.

Based across the Perth Metropolitan Area, you’ll have access to a vibrant capital city, spectacular coastline, warm weather, family-friendly communities, and an outdoor lifestyle that makes it easy to enjoy your time away from work.

Joining St John WA also opens the door to a career in a statewide ambulance service, with future opportunities to experience metropolitan, regional, rural and remote operations as your career progresses.

If you’re ready for a new clinical challenge, a fresh lifestyle and the chance to make a genuine impact in Western Australian communities, this could be your next move.
