The Opportunity
We are looking for passionate Recruitment Officer's to join our collaborative People team in Belmont. We have multiple positions available across our corporate and operational recruitment streams. The corporate stream supports professional and office-based roles, while the operational stream focuses on high-volume and bulk recruitment campaigns.
At St John WA, your work will directly support the people and teams who deliver vital services across Western Australia. You will have the opportunity to work across both corporate and operational recruitment, develop broad recruitment expertise and build relationships across a diverse organisation.

What you will do:
- Support recruitment campaigns across corporate and/or operational roles
- Advertise vacancies and source candidates through platforms such as SEEK and LinkedIn
- Screen applications and conduct initial candidate conversations
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, reference checks and pre-employment activities
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure processes are followed
- Build positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the recruitment process
- Contribute to high-volume and bulk recruitment campaigns
- Support fair, equitable, unbiased and compliant recruitment practices
What you will need:
Recruitment experience is highly regarded, particularly in high-volume, operational or corporate environments. However, we are also open to candidates with strong transferable skills who are looking to build a career in recruitment. You will bring;
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines or high-volume workflows
- Confidence speaking with a wide range of people
- Sound organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to use systems, databases and online platforms
- Professionalism when handling confidential information
- A willingness to learn and contribute as part of a collaborative team
