St John WA clinics nestle themselves perfectly between the First Aid and Ambulance services of St John. We treat walk-in patients with urgent medical needs, GP and Dentals Care.

St John Health operates primary health clinics across the metro area located in Armadale/Kelmscott, Midland, Cockburn, Cannington, Joondalup and Osborne Park. These facilities are state of the art and offer a range of combined health solutions including GP, Urgent Care and Dental, along with allied services and x-ray/imaging facilities. We also operate a rural GP clinic in Kambalda.

Rostering Coordinator - Part-time role - 4 days per week - Based in Belmont

The role for you:

As the Rostering Coordinator you will assist in the efficient and effective deployment of our most critical resource, our people.

We require a part-time team member that can work 4 days per week, Tuesday to Friday between the hours of 8am - 4pm, due to operational requirements these hours are not negotiable. This is an office-based role in Belmont.

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinating rostering of staff across all locations covered by St John Medical & Urgent Care
  • Ensuring all staff vacancies are filled with appropriately qualified staff in a timely manner
  • First point of contact for staff calls
  • Build relationships and ensure high level of customer service
  • Effectively utilise online rostering system (Deputy)
  • Rostering reporting

You will have:

Whilst previous experience rostering staff within a healthcare environment will be an advantage, we are enthusiastic to find someone that has the skill set listed below and we will train you to succeed in this pivotal role:

  • Rostering or Medical/Clinical Reception experience will be highly regarded
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Demonstrated ability to be organised and prioritise tasks effectively
  • On-the-spot problem solving skills
  • Engaging communication skills and ability to build relationship
  • Full working rights in Australia
