St John WA has been serving the Western Australian community since 1922. Our organisation has grown into an integrated healthcare provider, connecting people across WA to lifesaving emergency services, urgent care, and health education.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, and we are committed to making a positive impact on the safety, wellbeing, and health of everyone, no matter where in WA they live. Our services are powered by more than 8,000 dedicated employees and volunteers who bring care, skill, and compassion to every corner of the state.

About the Role:

Are you an experienced D365 F&O architect who thrives on complex integration, process design and enterprise‑scale delivery?

We are looking for an ERP Architect to join our Digital Services department on an 18-month fixed term full time basis.

The ERP Architect is the key functional and platform lead for St John WA’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation, guiding both Finance and Supply Chain modules. This role connects business needs with effective system design, ensuring end‑to‑end processes are clearly defined, fit‑for‑purpose, and aligned to standard D365 capability. As a senior system and process expert, the role provides expert direction across design, build, testing, and implementation, while building internal capability and reducing reliance on external partners.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review and technical validation of functional designs, configuration approaches and solution proposals from the ERP delivery partner.
  • Ensure cross‑module integration integrity by managing functional dependencies and architectural impacts across Finance and Supply Chain streams.
  • Lead key project activities including fit‑gap analysis, solution walkthroughs, testing preparation and cutover readiness activities.
  • Supports defect triage, prioritisation and resolution during testing and stabilisation phases.
  • Proactively identify emerging risks and decision points early to maintain delivery momentum and safeguard project outcomes.
  • Communicate complex system behaviours in a clear and accessible way to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Guide data migration, integrations and security design from a business‑aligned functional perspective.
  • Build technical capability within Finance and Supply Chain SMEs by coaching and facilitating knowledge transfer, walkthroughs and solution deep‑dives.

  • Proven track record designing end‑to‑end business processes using standard D365 functionality.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance requirements, integrations, and data migration within a D365 ecosystem.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex system concepts.
  • Experience working with system integrators, including reviewing and validating vendor‑delivered functional designs.

Benefits:

The successful candidate will be offered an interactive and supportive working environment, along with:

  • Salary packaging and novated leasing
  • Consumer discounts
  • Discounts on first aid equipment
  • Complimentary First Aid Training
  • Complimentary ambulance cover
