About the Role:

We are looking for a Server Engineer to join our Digital Services department on a permanent full-time basis.

In this role, you will help connect our business goals with practical technology solutions. You will bring strong technical skills and a hands‑on approach to delivering complex systems, ensuring that the technology we implement directly supports the functional outcomes of the organisation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver expert technical support across diverse server and infrastructure environments, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, and associated platforms
  • Provide high‑quality customer service with a strong focus on responsiveness and professionalism
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve server‑related incidents, escalating where appropriate
  • Support IT project delivery and collaborate with senior engineers on implementation activities
  • Patching, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening across operating systems, firmware, and hypervisors within change‑control processes
  • Manage backup and recovery operations
  • Participate in an after‑hours on‑call roster.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related major OR Microsoft Certifications and other relevant industry certifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft technologies including Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange, Intune, Azure, and Azure AD
  • Good problem solving and organisational skills
  • Proven experience with VMware, cloud technologies, and private cloud computing
  • Strong background in developing and implementing automation.
