About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SOE Engineer to deliver a secure, reliable and modern digital workplace experience. This role focuses on modern device management, automation and Microsoft 365 technologies to support productivity and innovation across the organisation.

This is a Permanent full-time role within the Digital Services team, based at our Belmont office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver and optimise end-user technology across devices, applications and collaboration platforms
  • Build, deploy and maintain OS builds, applications and endpoint configurations
  • Manage modern endpoint environments ensuring security, compliance and performance standards
  • Develop automation and self-service solutions to improve efficiency and user experience
  • Design, create and maintain standard device images, configuration baselines, and automated
    deployment processes to ensure consistent, secure and scalable endpoint environments
  • Engineer and support Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Investigate and resolve complex endpoint and workplace technology issues
  • Manage the lifecycle of technology assets and maintain accurate system records
  • Contribute to engineering standards, documentation and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar enterprise or end-user computing role
  • Strong experience with Intune, Configuration Manager, Workspace ONE, Jamf or similar
  • Experience with Intune environments and Group Policy
  • Experience with Windows, macOS, iOS and Android technologies (e.g. Samsung Knox)
  • Experience managing Microsoft licensing for endpoints, ensuring accurate assignment, compliance, and cost optimisation
  • Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python or similar)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory
  • Understanding of endpoint security, compliance and modern workplace practices
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
