About the Role:
We are seeking a Transport Services Coordinator to join our Patient & Community Transport Services department on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves working 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, scheduled between 6:00 and 19:00.
The Transport Services Coordinator is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by accurately and efficiently taking patient transport bookings. This role involves managing incoming calls, entering and maintaining booking information in the system for dispatch, and providing clear, timely, and accurate information about PaCTS services to customers and clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to all calls promptly, professionally, and within agreed timeframes. Ensure that telephone and online bookings are prioritized appropriately.
- Apply problem-solving skills and initiative to resolve booking issues while meeting service delivery and efficiency goals.
- Negotiate and confirm bookings with customers to maximise scheduling efficiencies and service utilisation.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge of PaCTS services, providing clear, accurate, and timely information to customers and clients.
- Proactively promote PaCTS services when engaging with customers, contributing to increased transport volumes and revenue growth.
- Assist the PaCTS team in achieving KPIs and sales targets by providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge to customers

What You’ll Need:
- Experience in a high-volume call-centre environment is essential
- Previous sales and customer experience is essential
- Demonstrate familiarity with or knowledge of WA health system (desirable)
- Knowledge of systems, tools and process within the ambit of this position.
- Good problem solving and organisational skills and high attention to detail, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to and use various computer applications including corporate information systems and MSOffice applications to an intermediate level.
- Demonstrated ability to organise, multi-task and prioritise workload to ensure service area outcomes, administration standards and service expectations and service delivery plans.
