Join St John WA as a Corporate Communications Officer and take pride in using your communication skills to drive meaningful engagement across the organisation. In this permanent full-time role based in Belmont, you will report to the Corporate Communications Lead and collaborate with the wider Corporate Affairs team to deliver impactful communication strategies that align with St John’s values and strategic plan.

What you’ll do:

  • Support stakeholders and leaders in communications by taking an audience-based approach
  • Assist with and manage the development of communication materials across internal and external channels, publications, and more
  • Help strengthen communication capability across the organisation through training and guidance on intranet use and effective messaging
  • Contribute to organisation-wide communication initiatives to boost employee engagement and support strategic goals
  • Ensure communications are professional, accurate, and of a high standard, delivering excellence in service.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in internal and external communications, including planning, delivery, and measurement
  • Proven experience in communication via digital platforms (eDMs, SMS, digital and in-person event management systems, social media)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS365 platforms
