A job to be proud of:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, administration, and support of the SJA Finance Software & Accounting Packages whilst planning & implementing future improvements or developments across the systems. This is a project based role, starting on an 18 month contract, open to extension. 

What you’ll do:

  • Ongoing management and maintenance of Finance Systems
  • Escalate support requests to IT or system vendors, as applicable, with a view to achieve timely resolution
  • Maintain integrity of master data in the system to assure an up-to-date system at any time that respects statutory rules and internal / external reporting requirements.
  • Provide specialist assistance and guidance to all users within the organisation, training users as necessary.
  • Design and scope management reports, including Refreshable Excel Reports (SQL query) within the existing Finance system to meet user needs and enhance stakeholder decision-making and planning for senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Finance, Supply Chain & IT teams to plan, manage and support system upgrades and implementations, including data migration and system configuration.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and system integration testing of system changes prior to implementation in Production as directed.

What you’ll need:

  • Systems accounting background with 5+ years’ experience supporting Finance systems in a large and complex organisation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP would be ideal however not essential.
  • Considerable experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system administration, maintenance, support, and development of an Enterprise Resource Planning system in a large and complex organisation.
  • Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with database analysis.
  • Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills in relation to Enterprise Resource Planning systems and business processes.
  • Experience in providing technical support to users, maintaining security and upgrade management and testing.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including internal staff, vendors and third parties to deliver successful outcomes.
