As the Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for setting and maintaining high standards of delivery practice across the organisation’s Performance and Project portfolio. They ensure projects and programs are delivered using consistent methods, within agreed governance frameworks, and aligned to strategic outcomes.

Working as part of the Leadership Performance and Project Office, the Delivery Lead oversees a pool of Delivery Partners, oversees integrated planning, and supports delivery teams to solve problems, remove blockers, and stay on track. The role plays a key part in improving delivery capability, driving assurance activities, and promoting continuous improvement.

This is a permanent full-time position based at our head office in Belmont.

What you’ll do:

  • Establish and embed governance frameworks that ensure project and program delivery aligns with organisational controls, audit requirements, and compliance obligations.
  • Lead delivery assurance reviews including milestone readiness, risk posture checks, and stage gate assessments, ensuring adherence to the Change Framework and organisational guardrails.
  • Partner with Governance and Risk teams to embed delivery risk metrics and control measures, including blocker tracking, compliance with assurance standards, and control effectiveness monitoring.
  • Lead and coordinate key Performance and Project cadences such as roadmap reviews, risk and dependency forums, and integrated planning cycles.
  • Develop and present reporting artefacts for executive, governance and stakeholder groups, ensuring insights are clear, actionable, and value focused.
  • Intervene in at risk initiatives, remove blockers, and coordinate resolution of complex delivery challenges with minimal disruption.
  • Monitor emerging practices and trends to improve delivery maturity, agility, and organisational responsiveness to change.
  • Oversee the integration of related projects into coherent delivery programs, ensuring sequencing, dependencies and milestones are effectively coordinated.

What you’ll need:

  • Good problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated success in applying structured delivery methodologies across complex transformation initiatives.
  • Strong background in delivery governance, assurance, and risk management within a programme or enterprise context.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, or leading capability development within delivery teams.
  • Sound knowledge of delivery tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Power BI) and reporting frameworks.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence across senior stakeholder groups and lead through collaboration.
