About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is available for a graduate or junior level analyst to join the team. This is a permanent full-time position.
The Data Science and Analytics team at St John WA uses data analysis and visualisation tools to help the organisation make informed decisions to better serve the community. Current team members have diverse backgrounds with qualifications including physics, mathematics, engineering, health, psychology and business, and have previously worked across the government, private, academic, consulting, and defence sectors.
Applications are encouraged from recent graduates looking to start a career in analytics, as well as early career analysts keen to develop their skills.
What You’ll Do:
Your job will be to help senior leaders and frontline staff solve problems and make better informed decisions by analysing and visualising data. In doing so you’ll have a direct impact on the delivery of life saving ambulance services, urgent care, and first aid training across WA.
This is a diverse role in which you’ll work with stakeholders, business processes, and complex data sets spanning operational, financial, workforce, and contractual domains. In doing so, you’ll use a range of business intelligence and analytics frameworks and tools.
You will be part of a highly capable, motivated and collegial team, which works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide high-quality services to St John WA and the community.

You will have strong support from management and the broader team, with ongoing training and coaching provided across all aspects of the role and the opportunity to develop both technical and business skills.
