About the Role:

The Inventory Control Assistant supports the inventory team, by ensuring compliance to the operational standards pertaining to the quality and control of inventory and inventory movements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the Inventory Control Lead to ensure inventory is checked for correct setup at point of receipt and assets are maintained in relevant systems
  • Work with internal stakeholders regarding quality issues and concerns
  • Work with various internal and external stakeholders to capture and resolve data integrity issues on inventory line.
  • Involvement with stock checks and stock takes with Inventory Control Officer
  • Assist in ways to improve inventory control processes and procedures for greater efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Provide administration and record keeping support to the Inventory Control and wider Supply Chain team which includes, but is not limited to:
  • Adjust inventory item data in the system following review
  • Record pass/fail rating of inventory item
  • Maintain accurate records in the system to track quality standards and financial data
  • Support the Inventory team as required

What You’ll Need:

  • High attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to demonstrate initiative and meet deadlines.
  • Capable with Supply Chain related systems and technology (desirable).
  • Previous warehouse experience (essential)
  • Previous inventory control experience (desirable)
