A job to be proud of:
As Marketing Manager at St John WA you will lead our marketing initiatives with a strong focus on delivering commercial outcomes. You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to build and lead a high-performing team of Marketing Specialists, while effectively managing complex stakeholder relationships.  
This is a permanent, full time role based in our newly refurbished Belmont State Office and flexible working times and 1-2 work from home days are available. 
 
What you’ll do: 
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve commercial objectives and drive revenue growth. 
    • Work with Brand and Marketing Insights Analyst to conduct market research that will inform and support marketing activity in alignment with achievement of business goals 
  •  Team Leadership and Development:
    • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. 
    • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and support professional development to enhance team capabilities and morale.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, partners, and vendors, ensuring alignment and effective communication. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product, and Customer Experience 
What you’ll need:
  • Creative Thinking: High level of creativity and innovation with the ability to generate fresh ideas and approaches to marketing challenges.  
  • Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of marketing best practice with the ability to leverage data and analytics to optimise campaign performance and customer experiences.  
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity for working effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.  
  • Critical Thinking and Decision-making:Established analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse and understand complex information, business processes, and concepts, and make decisions based on sound judgments and relevant research.  
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience in managing and developing high performing teams.  
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIM, PMP) preferred. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role focusing on complex stakeholder management and delivering commercial outcomes.
