We are looking for a Clinical Program Coordinator, passionate about education, to help design and coordinate clinical education programs, as well as provide leadership and mentorship to Clinical Education seconded trainers. This role has a proven track record of career development and progression within the organisation.

We are recruiting for a 12-month fixed-term and a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

What you’ll do:

• Provide on-boarding, leadership and mentoring for seconded trainers.
• Give feedback to secondments on their performance while seconded to Clinical Education.
• Design, implement and monitor education packages that align with scope of practice.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with marking reflective writing and theory exams.
• Maintain training records via the organisations Learning Management System.
• Assist with quality improvement processes

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience in pre-hospital or emergency ambulance response, with relevant tertiary education
• Previous experience in the clinical education department as a Seconded trainer or a Paramedic Training Officer within St John WA (desirable)
• Understanding of adult learning principles
• Thorough understanding of Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong change management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suites, including Outlook, Teams and Excel
