A Job to be proud of:

You will establish and maintain all parts and consumables for the workshop within St John WA’s Fleet, Radio & Equipment Department, overseeing day-today processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards while fostering collaborative relationships with suppliers to meet organisational needs.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain the integrity of inventory management by accurately capturing and inputting data within operating systems.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Lead & Scheduling Officer to ensure that the correct parts are available for the maintenance plan (proactive)
  • Verify and validate inventory and contract pricing, and coordinate with the Procurement and Supply Chain team to ensure accurate supplier data and update price lists as needed.
  • Identify alternate sources of supply in cases of shortfalls or Supply Chain issues.
  • Management of fuel cards and associated processes including the issuing of and replacing of fuel cards
  • Complete fuel card reconciliations and preparing associated balance sheets.
  • Generate purchase orders, both scheduled and non-scheduled, using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Calibration and management of specialised workshop tooling
  • Generation of monthly reporting for the Maintenance Manger as requested.

What you’ll need:

  • Parts, Stores, Warehousing or Mechanical Workshop experience. Relevant certifications or qualifications in vehicle and equipment maintenance are highly desirable.
  • C Class drivers’ license
  • Competency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Background in corporate, health, community or commercial based sectors.
  • Knowledge of systems, tools and process within the ambit of this position.
