We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our People Services team on 12 month fixed term full-time basis based in Belmont.

In this diverse and fast-paced role, you will provide trusted HR support and guidance to employees, volunteers and leaders across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to navigate people matters, build positive relationships, and drive practical solutions across the employee lifecycle.  You will work a 37.5 hour week Monday through to Friday based in Belmont, with some flexibility regarding start and finish times. You will have the ability to work from home 1 day per week, post probation.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with the business to deliver generalist HR support to leaders and employees
  • Interpreting and providing guidance on employment contracts, awards, policies, and legislation
  • Assist with case management including performance management, workplace conflict, misconduct, and grievances
  • Support administrative processes, policy development, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.

What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar HR Generalist or HR Advisor role
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (desirable)
