About the Role:

We are seeking a Transport Services Coordinator to join our Patient & Community Transport Services team in our State Office in Belmont on a permanent full-time basis. The working hours will follow a roster from Monday to Friday, within the hours of 6.00am to 10.00pm. You will answer high volumes of calls and liaise with customers, family members, service providers and carers to ensure that customers receive the transport services they require on a day-to-day basis.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the delivery of Patient Transfer and Community Transport Service providing administration and support services daily
  • Receive and progress incoming transport bookings and answer general enquiries with a customer service focus
  • Answer high volumes of calls and general enquiries from customers
  • Ensure booking details are recorded and progressed for scheduling, this includes negotiating bookings with customers to maximise efficiencies
  • Allocate crews in an efficient and timely manner based on established guidelines and procedures
  • Co-ordinate vehicle movements where breakdowns or fleet servicing arise
  • Utilise problem solving skills and initiative to ensure that service goals are met
  • Provide a high level of customer service by treating all stakeholders with respect, undertake client visits as required.
  • The Communication centre is operational between 6am – 10pm and you will be rostered to shifts within these operational hours.

What You’ll Need:

  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a call centre or similar environment
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • The ability to problem solves and think on your feet
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills
