We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Administrative Officer - State Defibrillator Network to join our Community First Responder team on permanent full-time basis working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm for 37.5 hours in a week in Belmont. The purpose of this role is to build and strengthen connections with individuals, groups, and organisations across Western Australia, helping to increase the number of community defibrillators available. By growing this network, you’ll play an important part in improving survival from sudden cardiac arrest in your community.

You will bring strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others. You’ll be confident in identifying opportunities and following up leads.

What you'll do:

  • Provide a welcoming and efficient first point of contact for people interested in the program
  • Liaise with community members and organisations through our Salesforce database to help them become active participants in the Community First Responder program
  • Support the Community First Responder team in growing and strengthening the defibrillator network
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding the program
  • Manage all existing client relationships whilst providing exceptional customer service
  • Grow the database from referrals, both internal & external, follow ups and cold calls
  • Assist with the updating of client registration details and data management
  • Assist with enquiries via phone and email from current and potential program participants

What you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a front-facing, customer service position
  • Previous exposure to administrative duties
  • Excellent phone manner
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service consistently
  • High attention to detail with experience inputting data
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to represent the organisation in various forums
  • Ability to be discreet when dealing with and handling sensitive and/or confidential information.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to demonstrate initiative
  • Ability to work autonomously but also work with a close team
