A job to be proud of:

As a Brand and Marketing Support Officer at St John, you will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic initiatives of the Brand and Marketing Department. You will ensure effective communication and alignment across internal and external stakeholders, contribute directly to the execution of brand and marketing campaigns and large-scale events, and oversee the administrative framework that supports these functions.

What you’ll do:

Administrative Support:

• Support the Head of Brand and Marketing in managing stakeholder relationships, preparing presentations, and general administrative duties
• Manage the department’s administrative budget
• Manage general email accounts and subscriptions

Operational Excellence:

• Manage logistics for key departmental activities, including event planning, team-building initiatives, and cross-functional meetings.
• Support teams in content creation and social media activity.
• Assist with filing and continuous improvement of workflows and processes.

Organisational Support:

• Contribute to a high-performance culture that aligns with the vision, values, and strategic priorities of the organisation.
• Support diversity and inclusion programs, initiatives, and strategies.

What you’ll need:

• Experience: Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a marketing/agency environment.
• Skills: Good problem-solving and organisational skills, strong work ethic, high attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information, and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Education: Hold or be working towards a tertiary qualification in Brand, Marketing, Advertising, or a related discipline.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint or equivalent in Mac operating environment. Proficiency in Content Creation (Adobe Creative Suite) and Social Media tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Hootsuite).
