St John Dental operates in primary health clinics across the metro area located in Armadale/Kelmscott, Cannington, Cockburn, Joondalup, Midland & Osborne Park. These facilities are state of the art and offer a range of combined health solutions including GP, Urgent Care and Dental, along with allied services and x-ray/imaging facilities.

We offer a range of dental services for the whole family ranging from routine general visits to more complex cosmetic procedures and we work hard to develop dedicated dental plans to ensure that patients of all ages get the best possible care.

Dental Assistant - Cockburn

The role:

In line with patient growth, we are now seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team of professionals on a Full-Time basis in our Cockburn clinic. 

St John Dental clinics provide unparalleled oral care including routine general, major dental (including implants and extractions) and emergency. Whether it's the annual family trip for a scale and polish or a complex surgical procedure that our patients visit us for, we provide comprehensive treatment plans and adhere to a high standard of service for all of our patients.

Our Dental clinics are open 6 days per week, and hours will range from 7.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 4pm on Saturday.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist our Dentists chair-side, pre-empting their needs
  • Perform surgery preparation in anticipation of the daily schedule
  • Follow instrument sterilisation and infection control procedures
  • Care for our patients like they are family and bring a positive and professional energy to the team

To be considered you will have:

  • Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting
  • At least 1 year chair-side experience
  • Experience using Dental 4 Windows (preferred)
  • Exceptional inter-personal and customer service skills
  • Experience with surgical extractions and implants preferred
