As an Event Health Officer you will be responsible for coordinating staff and volunteer deployment at public events to ensure customer needs and expectations are met and to enhance the reputation of St John WA as premier pre-hospital health service provider. This is a Permanent Full Time position 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30am based in Belmont.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure adequate volunteer resources are available to ensure customers’ needs and expectations are effectively met
- Ensure all operational aspects of EHS adhere to SJA policies, procedures and guidelines
- Ensure SJA is not exposed to risk by ensuring all events are provided with adequate volunteer resources
- Maintain and monitor key stakeholder relationships to ensure positive engagement and outcomes
- Disseminate timely and relevant information to ensure volunteers have sufficient information to perform their roles at events
- Allocate EHS fleet appropriately to ensure efficient service delivery
- Assist, support and facilitate organisational change and other initiatives in accordance with the organisation’s Strategic Plan, vision and philosophy
- Monitor and review performance outcomes and provide feedback to the Event Services Team
What you’ll need:
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office Suite and Social Media Skills
- Demonstrated ability to organise time and prioritise workload to ensure customer expectations are achieved
- Possess the ability work to as part of a small team in an open and friendly style and work within a team environment
- Possess excellent writing and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to address issues using problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to utilise resources efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to and utilise corporate information systems and MS Office applications to an intermediate level
