About the Role:

We are looking for an ERM Compliance Officer to join our Legal, Risk and Governance Team on a Permanent full-time basis based in Belmont. You will be part of a team that delivers Quality Assurance and Compliance to ensure the organisation meets their regulatory requirements.

You will support all aspects of Quality Management System maintenance, including internal auditing and assisting with the external audit process to ensure the Organisation continues to be compliant with ISO Accreditation. You will identify opportunities for improvement and ensure a culture of continuous improvement within the Organisation.

In addition to this, you will conduct daily reviews of triple zero calls, auditing against industry standards, manage requests for information and access to patient records in line with legal obligations, coordinate Central Complaints Management, and support the handling of summons, subpoenas, dispatch priority disputes, call out guideline updates and organisational Poisons Permits.

This is a diverse and entry level role, with exposure to many aspects of the organisation. The successful candidate will be committed to driving meaningful and positive change, focussing on integrity and implementing best practice audit processes.

What you’ll need:

  • Demonstrated experience within a similar position, working with confidential information
  • ISO 9001-2015 Auditor qualification or willingness to obtain
  • ProQA Auditor qualification or willingness to obtain
  • Certificate IV in Business or equivalent experience
  • Experience with QMS and internal audit requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proven report writing ability
  • Complaints handling and privacy/confidential information experience
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work with diverse stakeholders.
