The Clinical Education Department at St John WA is responsible for providing initial and ongoing training to the clinical workforce of the ambulance service; our career paramedics, transport officers, call takers, and volunteers. Made up of a combination of seconded trainers and permanent educational professionals, we strive to innovate and constantly improve in our delivery of rigorous, research-based training and skills development for over 5,000 SJWA clinicians.
About the Role:
We are looking for a program coordinator to join our department. This role is offered as a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The CPC is responsible for assisting in the design, implementation and coordination of educational programs for operational personnel in line with clinical practice guidelines, skills, workplace health and safety and as required by the Medical Director. In addition, this position is responsible for providing leadership and mentorship to trainers and representing the department on a variety of committees
