About the Role:

We are looking for Talent Acquisition Consultants to join our Industry Medical Services department on a permanent full-time basis. This is an office-based role. You will be delivering end-to-end recruitment and onboarding services for IMS operational roles, ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and efficient experience for candidates and stakeholders.

The role is responsible for planning and executing recruitment strategies, proactively sourcing talent, coordinating selection processes, and supporting candidates from initial engagement through to successful onboarding.  By fostering strong internal relationships, maintaining accurate workforce data, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, this position plays a key role in ensuring IMS has a capable, site-ready workforce that meets current and future operational needs. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Build talent pipelines and support recruitment planning
  • Source candidates using LinkedIn, SEEK, and other tools
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment (job advertising, screening, interviews, checks, contracts)
  • Coordinate onboarding and work with Payroll to ensure a smooth start
  • Support IMS personnel to be site-ready (rosters, PPE, inductions, training)
  • Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the process
  • Respond to phone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Participate in an on-call roster for urgent matters outside business hours
  • Ensure accurate documentation in line with organisational policies

What You’ll Need:

Essential:

  • Background in corporate, health, community or commercial based sectors.
  • Experience in delivering end‑to‑end recruitment, selection, and appointment services
  • Strong understanding of staff mobilisation processes and agency‑based recruitment practices
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Solid understanding of proactive methods of talent sourcing.
  • Understanding of employment law and legislation that underpins recruitment and selection.
  • Experience using PageUp or similar applicant tracking systems.

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Human Resources or Psychology (desirable) or demonstrated experience within a similar position (preferred)
  • Experience within a commercial recruitment consultancy environment (desirable)
