As the People Learning Specialist you will be a strategic enabler of organisational capability, responsible for designing and delivering innovative learning solutions that align with current and future workforce needs. You will champion a culture of continuous learning by leveraging technology, analytics, and evidence-based practices to deliver measurable impact on performance and engagement.  

This is a permanent full-time position based in Belmont, working within a passionate team who are thinking differently in how learning can be reimagined across our diverse teams across Western Australia.  

What you’ll do: 

  • Create and facilitate impactful and engaging training sessions, with the goal of building new skills and inspiring behavioural change. 
  • Recommend, design and review learning solutions that address skills gaps and align with organisational capability needs. 
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on learning programs to assess effectiveness, impact and opportunities for continuous improvement. 
  • Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to understand learning needs and co-design practical, high-impact solutions. 
  • Assist with the review and coordination and booking of external training courses and conferences. 
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operation of our Learning Management Systems, from enrolments and course creation to scheduling training and maintaining accurate learning records. 
  • Stay current with learning and development trends, reviewing and refreshing programs and content to ensure relevance. 
     

What you’ll need: 

  • Skills in designing and delivering learning experiences, including presentations, workshops, and both virtual and in‑person facilitated training. 
  • Expertise in LMS platforms and digital learning tools, supported by strong Microsoft Office proficiency. 
  • Proven capability in developing high‑quality educational resources informed by research, industry trends, and adult learning principles. 
  • An organised and detail‑focused approach, with the ability to prioritise effectively in fast‑paced learning and development environments. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with initiative and a passion for developing self and others. 
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or relevant degree (desirable).
